The invention relates to a novel introduced photoelectric composite cable. The cable comprises a cable core and a sheath which covers out of the cable core. The cable core comprises: a center reinforcement piece, at least one fiber unit which is intertwisted around the center reinforcement piece and a plurality of copper conductors. The fiber unit comprises: a plurality of fibers, loose tubes which cover out of the fibers and fiber paste which is filled between the fibers and the loose tubes. The copper conductors comprise: copper wires and the sheathes which cover out of the copper wires. The photoelectric composite cable can be applied as a transmission line in a broadband access network system. The cable integrates the fiber and the power transmission copper wires. Problems of the broadband access, electric equipment and signal transmission can be solved.
